It’s been awhile since i last updated anything over here. Been carried off with work. But then again… i m back with hopefully some improvement to share with you all.

Here, we have our lovely model Amelia, casual theme outdoor portrait at Esplanade. Not so hot weather n some breeze too.

Day out Shooting in Charcoal Factory off Kuala Sepetang

This is my first outing with Matthew from CnS and his gang… hehehe. Was hoping to have some beautiful girls for nice portrait shoots but who know what happen. Anyhow it was a great learning experience for me.

I was hoping to try some key CLS techniques and also learn some from fellow photographer there. Below are some of my cam shoots all done using CLS.

Overall, we use about 8 speedlights from Canon, Nikon and Cybertik. What was interesting is that all the mention speedlight was overheated after the end of the event. I wonder why..

The shoot above was a creation from me. I absolutely loves this creation. I bet you never know, that it took about 1hrs to create this shoot with aid from 6 speedlights. He (Michael) was so cool..

Turbocharged Your Photography workshop pics

Was invited by Tairven from tairven.com to help on his workshop catching candid and portraiture. It was a great fun and full of energy workshop.

During the snapshoot session, each participant is require to produce 2 of their best portrait of their own choosing partner. Here is one my take with Sharon, with assistance from Tairven using CLS techniques. I was shooting downward to her from 2nd floor of the complex.

I guess this participant is interested in food photography…

Playpen balls were use for the participant to practice “What is so call Aperture?”

Loy trying the so called military squatting technique for camera stabilization.

Serious portraiture happening here, setting up system for creative lighting with reflector and diffuser. Here is my take from the setup. Nat bad for such a short setup time. hehehe

Well I guess this is not very good at all. 1 participant is blocked. n i used the wrong shutter speed to freeze the moment.

Leng Yaw’s wedding…

Leng Yaw i know him when i started working with him on a project back in 2004 at my ex-company… Was surprise to got his call somewhere in October 2009 informing me of his wedding reception… and also asking me to RSVP..

BTW, i am not the official photog for the couple. .Well mayb i should go there n practice some superzoom shoots… Well he is some of it.. take a look n comment for self improvement… thanks.

Albert & Shirley’s Wedding luncheon…

I know Albert bout 3-4 years back thru a forum where we discuss about ICE (In Car Entertainment) & car mod… that was back in old days. Until today I m still in contact with him and will call him out whenever I m in KL.

Shirley I get to know her back 2yrs when I when visiting Albert in KL.

OK,.. enough talking. Here are some of the shoots I took during the luncheon in JB. All shoots we taken with 55-250mm IS lense.

I know i hv been missing quite sometime. But hey, who is perfect anyway. Well i promise to get is started again within this 2 week.. Anyhow here is what i intend to do.

Initially was there to take car shoots with some models shoots in between.. but after grouping with some forummer friends….. all my plans drop after they let me review what they took… belif me the portrait of models was very poisonous.

So I when hunting for models for some candid portrait of my own. Needless to say, i did pretty ok but not that great.. so here i post some of what I think its best from my angle n cam..

This wedding was taken a long time ago. Recently finish PP, so here I would like to share some of it. It may not be the best quality since during that time (2nd wedding event shoot with this cam); so I consider myself still getting use to the cam feature… Some of the pics may look over saturated coz I set 2+ on cam saturation, but eventually minus off during PP.

Lovely couple met at working place, sprung into romance a couple of yrs back; and finally tying the lovely romantic manhood knot. I will you both Happy Marriage.

I had the pleasure of having them before my camera lens. Oh what a joy it was, seeing their playfulness, all rolled into a sweet kind of love that is never too over the top, nor too hidden. So much so, that I knew that when it came to their wedding day, I would be greeted with snapshots that would be filled with the same wonderful moments.

Here are a few of my favourites from their wedding day session.
